kristopher thinks he has hair on his chin. how do i know this? because he told me last night while we were driving along.
here's how it went:
kristopher (rubbing his chin): "ooo mom! feel this-i'm getting A hair on my chin!"
me (cutting my eyes at his chin while driving): "what? hair? please- you are NOT getting any hair."
kt: "umhum! yes i am! FEEL IT!"
me: "are you crazy? don't you see me driving? i can LOOK at you and see there is no hair growing."
kt: "ma- that's what you said about my 'stache and now look at it." (there is a SMALL amount of something on his top lip that he is constantly rubbing. it looks like dirt to me but if he wants to call it a "stache" then whatever) he continued: "i have some hair on my chin and i can feel it. all you have to do is feel right here."
me (squinting to see if i can see the microscopic hair on his chin now that we were at a stop sign): "boy, there is NO HAIR on your chin. but i tell you what- you better NOT let me get hair on mine when i am an old woman in the nursing home."
**side note** (now you all know that you have seen those little old ladies who have beards. i am NOT trying to be one of them (i am taking SEXY to the nursing home but i digress) and i have told kristopher ever since he was born that if he does indeed place me in a nursing home, he has to come pluck the hair from my chin once a week. HAHAHAHA! ugh! i shudder at the thought and so does he (both for different reasons though).
kt (recoiling at the mere thought of having to pluck the hair out of my chin when i am old): "oh, that is so gross. let's not talk about that again."
i guess we will wait until the hair is actually visible and discuss it again.
I hope the answer was yes!
